A reminder that our “Third Wednesday Free-for-All” for November is a “Write-In.” On the 23rd, we’ll gather at the usual venue with our trusty writing kit, grab a spot, and “write, write, write.”

Nominally, it’s in support of NaNoWriMo. Several WFoDers are participating (yrs trly, e.g.) but the target audience for this event is NOT limited to those of us loony enough to sign up for 1667 words a day for 30 days (I’m at 1993 words as of 0500 on 11/16 – this makes my target run-rate 3200 WPD hahahahahahahahahaha). Anyone, essentially, whether working on a NaNoWriMo project or a future Pulitzer-Prize-winning opus, is welcome to sidle in, set down that humongo-latte, set up your gear, and write for a couple of hours.

A few of us will break out to a side meeting for a little while to talk (quietly, using indoor, old-fashioned library voices), about progress and status of some ongoing WFoD stuff. Anyone’s welcome to join that as well.

Note: this is pretty much an “Onyerown” sort of effort. I don’t plan to supply coffee, tea, munchies, pens, pencils, paper or any of that sort of thing. Real Writers roll their own.

The usual afters apply, of course. See you there.
