"The Beat literary movement came at exactly the right time and said something that millions of people of all nationalities all over the world were waiting to hear. You can't tell anybody anything he doesn't know already. The alienation, the restlessness, the dissatisfaction were already there waiting when Kerouac pointed out the road.” ― William S. Burroughs
It was a spectacular night of stories, music, friends (current and future), food, and beverages in the funkiest of settings Deja Vu Furniture and More ― it made for “a little SoHo in SoNH.” The event was sponsored by The New Hampshire Writers’ Project and Derry’s Writers’ Night Out. (A few WFoD folk also competed.) If you find yourself near SoNH next February (date to-be-determined), come, pour yourself a beverage, sit down and let us tell you a story. Or, better yet, tell us one of yours!
