“The only way you can write the truth is to assume that what you set down will never be read. Not by any other person, and not even by yourself at some later date. Otherwise you begin excusing yourself. You must see the writing as emerging like a long scroll of ink from the index finger of your right hand; you must see your left hand erasing it.” ― Margaret Atwood
It was a spectacular night of stories, music, friends (current and future), food, and beverages in the funkiest of settings Deja Vu Furniture and More ― it made for “a little SoHo in SoNH.” The event was sponsored by The New Hampshire Writers’ Project and Derry’s Writers’ Night Out. (A few WFoD folk also competed.) If you find yourself near SoNH next February (date to-be-determined), come, pour yourself a beverage, sit down and let us tell you a story. Or, better yet, tell us one of yours!
