We were a small bunch tonight, booted from our usual and clearly rightful place at Halligan’s. That family is lucky we’re good-natured. We were tonight simply John T., Dean, Adrian and myself, Tomek. We started with biking and the potential for a WFoD biking excursion, which got us on biking stories and bikes themselves. (This brought up memories of old trips along the river and to the fort.) I got to brag a bit more about my home life, which provoked some meditation on backyard critters. We touched on how some people are too dumb to interact intelligently with animals, which landed us on hunting season and hunting accidents, and that got us on to injuries, insurance, and our very broken healthcare system. We really wallowed in that one for a while, before finally breaking up on a depressing note. Nevertheless, a good time was had by all.
