Another great turnout for a Flash Workshop. Hiking across Broadway we were Alex, Adrian, Jeff, John T, Lindsay, John L., Ferne, and yr. hmbl. svt Dean Q.

The tabletalk ricocheted from Vikings and their ships as well as their ubiquity in European history*, then on to MacGuffins, Westerns, the Coen Brothers, the late Kirk Douglas,  and why you shouldn’t drink that cider that used to be regular cider but has gotten fizzy.

*the name of the (semi-legendary) Viking who founded Russia, which I couldn’t remember last night, was of course, Rurik.

Good time, yatta-yatta. I know I’ve left out a great deal of scintillating chatter, but it is what it is.
