We had a large group tonight, technically I think constituting a herd. We were: Don, Ferne, Lindsay, Jeff, Alex, Dean, John L., John T., Pam (!), and myself — Tomek. We managed to get booted from our regular corner booth, but we survived somehow. I was at the far end of the table and so had only limited access to other conversations. I heard some banter about the Terry Pratchett-inspired film Going Postal. (I’m a fan too.) On our end we discussed self-inflicted wounds, cruise ships, some ER stuff, some gruesome deaths, diapers, the Kingston Trio. the idiocy of some former policies, and yes — this brought us to politics. Only later did I get a chance to ask about Florida. As always, a good time was had by all.
