We figure that by the 20th of November, the wannabes and wusses have folded their novel-writer tents and skulked into the outback, leaving the true-blue die-hard honest-to-hemingway novelists to ply their angst upon the realization that the month is two-thirds-shot, and they need to do some serious writing.
So we’re opening up our “Third Wednesday Free-for-all” to support that endeavor, under Don’s great and unmatched… oh wait, that’s a different Don. Our Don H. will be hosting the Write-In, and we’ll be publicizing it at local libraries. Not limited to WFoD members, anyone needing a couple of hours dedicated writing time and a place outside their normal routine to do it is welcome.
I hasten to add that if you’re a WFoD member (or know someone who wants to become a member) but aren’t doing the NaNoWriMo thing, drop in anyway. Bring your laptop or iPad or handful of freshly sharpened Ticonderoga #2s and some foolscap, pull up a chair and scribble.
Katharine please forward to WNO folks who aren’t on the WFoD distribution; Nicole, feel free to share this among the NHWP folks.
Note – this will be held on November 20th, in our regular time and place, i.e. 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Gerrish Community Center on West Broadway in Derry.
