The background information on Robert Johnson is a bit skimpy, but this film presents pretty much what there is to present.

I didn’t like some of the cartoonish graphic fillers, and in spite of cameos by such as Taj Mahal, Keb Mo, Rory Block and Keith Richards (and way quick drive-bys of Bonnie Raitt & Slowhand – not together), there’s nowhere near enough music, and certainly nowhere near enough about RJ’s influence on country blues.
